(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Hunt Equestrian team will head to River Falls, Wis. on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 for their final regular season shows hosted by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. The entire 18 person team will be riding.
“I am looking to qualify several more riders this weekend who are one or two good rides away from making the 35 point mark,” says Golden Eagle Hunt Coach Brooke Marcus. “Paige Harty (So, Waseca, Minn.) and Rebecca Rhodus (Fr, Kansas City, Missouri) have been quickly working their way through Advanced Walk Trot Canter and I expect them to qualify and move up the Novice level this weekend. Andrea Reed (Sr, Williston, N.D.) is very close to making it to Regionals in Walk Trot, having placed well all season long. Amber Miller (Sr, DePere, Wis.) and Kayla Klein (Fr, Hazen, N.D.) should both qualify in the Novice Flat division. They are great riders who can handle any horse they draw.”
