University of Minnesota, Crookston’s Paul Krebs Named NSIC Pitcher of the Week

(Crookston, Minn.) – University of Minnesota, Crookston pitcher Paul Krebs (Jr, RHP/C, Little Falls, Minn.) has been named Pitcher of the Week by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Krebs, a transfer from Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Minn., was stellar on the hill on Thursday, February 28 as he shut out Northland College (Wis.) by a 4-0 score at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. He scattered three hits and struck out 11 while only walking two.
Krebs is the son of John and Lori Krebs of Little Falls, Minn. He is a Golf and Turf Management major at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
The Golden Eagles started the season 2-0 defeating the Lumberjacks 4-0 and 13-4. They return to action on Thursday, March 6 when they travel to Minneapolis, Minn. for a non-conference doubleheader against the University of Wisconsin-Stout. First pitch is scheduled for 9:00 am at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.
