Golden Eagle Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams Return to Action this Weekend

(Crookston, Minn.)- The Golden Eagle Men’s and Women’s Golf teams travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. on Saturday, March 29 to participate in the Augustana College Spring Invitational at the Willow Run Golf Course. Play begins at 10:00 a.m. with times subject to change based on weather conditions.
The men’s team finished fifth at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships in October. Steven Busho (Sr, Blooming Prairie, Minn.) finished tied for sixth at the Championships and was named to the NSIC All-Conference team. The Golden Eagle men return to the links on Sunday, March 30 and Monday, March 31 as the team travels to Vermillion, S.D. to play in the University of South Dakota Invitational at The Bluffs Golf Course. Play begins at 10:00 a.m. with times subject to change based on weather conditions.
The women finished seventh at the NSIC Championships in October. Leading the way for Minnesota, Crookston was Brittany Poole (Fr, Channahan, Ill.) who finished tied for 38th place. Poole struggled on day one shooting a 104 but rebounded on day two, posting an outstanding score of 88 and a tournament score of 192. The team returns to action on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 at the Upper Iowa University Invitational. The event will be held at the Amana Colonies Golf Course in Amana, Iowa.
