(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men’s Golf team took eighth place in both the Upper Iowa Spring Invitational and the Peacock Invitational held in Amana, Iowa on April 5-6.
Andrew Wilson (Jr, South Milwaukee, Wis.) led the Golden Eagles in the UIU Spring Invitational. Wilson tied for 29th place with a score of 83 (40-43). Upper Iowa University won the invitational with a team score of 311.

Jake Sanders (Fr, Crookston, Minn.) turned in a solid ninth place performance at the UIU Peacock Invitational following a 47th place finish the day before. Sanders shot a 78 (39-39) to close out the weekend invitationals. The Golden Eagles finished with a team score of 329. St. Cloud State won the Peacock Invitational with a team score of 306.
