(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Golf team took tenth place in the Upper Iowa Spring Classic in Amana, Iowa on April 5-6.

Brittany Poole (Fr, Channahan, Ill.) led the Golden Eagles shooting a 207 (101-106), good for 54^th place in the tournament. The team finished with a score of 853 (425-428). Truman State University won the tournament with a team score of 686.

The Golden Eagle Women’s Golf team returns to action on April 12-13 at the NSIC Championships. The spring portion of the 2007-08 NSIC Women’s Golf Championship will take place at Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, S.D.
