(Crookston, Minn.) – University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Soccer coach Chris Przemieniecki has announced the 2008 Golden Eagle Schedule. The Golden Eagles will play a total of 19 games. Four will be of the non-conference variety, 15 will be Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) games and they will have one open date (Saturday, September 13).

U of M, Crookston will open their season with a pair of non-conference road games. On Sunday, August 31, the Golden Eagles will take on NCAA Division III institution Milliken University of Decatur, Ill. The following day (September 1), they will take on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wis. Both games will start at 12:00 pm.

U of M, Crookston will open their home season on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7 with a pair of non-conference tilts. NCAA Division III member the University of Wisconsin-Superior visits Crookston on Saturday at 2:00 pm while NAIA school Jamestown College comes to town on Sunday for a 1:00 pm game. The Golden Eagles will return the trip to Jamestown on Sunday, October 19 for a 1:00 pm game.

U of M, Crookston will open the 2008 NSIC season on Sunday, September 14 when they travel to St. Cloud, Minn. for a 2:00 pm contest against new NSIC member St. Cloud State University. They will open the 2008 home NSIC season on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 when they play host to Upper Iowa University and Winona State University respectively. Both games will start at 1:00 pm.

The Golden Eagles ended the 2007 season with an overall record of 5-15-0 and NSIC record of 2-7-0.
