Golden Eagle Baseball Signs Andrew Gunderson (Oakdale, Minn.) to a National Letter of Intent

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Golden Eagle Baseball program announced today the signing of Andrew Gunderson from Oakdale, Minn., to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles during the 2009 season.

 

Gunderson is a 6’3, 185 lb, right-handed pitcher, from North St. Paul High School of the Classic Suburban Conference. He has lettered in baseball for the Polars.

 

“We are excited to have Andrew Gunderson join the Golden Eagle Baseball program, “ says U of M, Crookston Head Coach Chris Vito. “He is a big, strong right-handed pitcher who will help to bolster our pitching staff. I truly feel that Andrew’s best baseball is ahead of him.”

 

Gunderson plans to major in Criminal Justice at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. He is the son of Ray and Amy Gunderson.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston is a NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
