(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston football program announced that it will hold a car wash on Friday, August 8th from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Crookston Ice Arena Parking lot. The cost is $10 per vehicle and all proceeds will go to the new Crookston Ice Arenas project.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston Football team will open their season on Saturday, August 30 when they travel to Marshall, Minn. for a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) match-up with Southwest Minnesota State University. Kick-off is set for 1:00 pm. The Golden Eagles will open their home season on Saturday, September 6 when they play host to Mayville State University in a non-conference game. Kick-off is set for 1:00 pm at Ed Widseth Field. The home opener will also be “Crookston Community Appreciation Day”.
