UW-Parkside Downs Golden Eagle Women’s Soccer Team 7-0

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside opened a four goal advantage at the half and went on to defeat the University of Minnesota, Crookston by a 7-0 score in a non-conference women’s soccer game in Kenosha, Wis. today.
Shannon Becker scored three goals for the Rangers including the first and last goals of the game at 3:21 and 88:57 respectively. She also assisted on UW-Parkside’s third goal. Brittany Kaim added two goals and two assists for UW-Parkside.
Anna Ogaard (So., GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) had 13 saves for the Golden Eagles.
UW-Parkside improves to 3-0-0 on the season. U of M, Crookston falls to 0-2-0.
The Golden Eagles will return to action on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7 when they play host to UW-Superior and Jamestown College respectively. Both contests are non-conference with the UW-Superior game starting at 2:00 pm and the Jamestown College game starting at 1:00 pm.
