Golden Eagles Women’s Soccer Team Drops 7-0 Decision to St. Cloud State

(Crookston, Minn.)- St. Cloud State University opened up a 6-0 halftime lead and went on to defeat the University of Minnesota, Crookston by a 7-0 score today in St. Cloud, Minn. The game was a non-conference match-up between the two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) foes.
The Huskies opened the scoring at 6:59 of the contest when Kara Larsen scored the first of her two goals on the afternoon. Kyrsten Flynn-Wallace also scored two goals while Chelsey Scheller added four assists. Five different players scored for St. Cloud State University.
The Huskies improve to 2-2-0 on the season. The University of Minnesota, Crookston drops to 1-3-1.
The Golden Eagles will return to action on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 when they play host to Upper Iowa University and Winona State University in a pair of NSIC contests. Both games will start at 1 p.m.
