Pafko’s Hat-Trick Stops Golden Eagles Women’s Soccer Team 4-0

(Crookston, Minn.)- St. Cloud State University’s Alexandra Pafko recorded a true hat-trick in the first half and the Huskies added a second-half goal as they defeated the University of Minnesota, Crookston 4-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Women’s Soccer action today in Crookston, Minn.

 

Pafko recorded her first goal just 1:40 into the game off an assist from Tara Evangelist. She struck again at 4:30 when she took a pass from Gabrielle Najera and scored on a shot that ricocheted off the left post. Pafko made it the true a hat-trick at 22:59 when she scored off an assist from Jessie Cody. St. Cloud State University finished off the game’s scoring at 81:51 when Cody tallied an unassisted goal.

 

The Huskies improve to 5-4-0 overall and 3-2-0 in the NSIC. The Golden Eagles fall to 1-8-1 overall and 0-5-0 in the NSIC.

 

U of M, Crookston will return to action on Sunday, October 5 when they play host to Concordia University-St. Paul in an NSIC contest. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the UMC Soccer Field.
