Amber Meyer (Paxton, Neb.) Earns NSIC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

(Crookston, Minn.)- The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) announced this morning that Amber Meyer (OH, 6-2, SO, Paxton, Neb.) has been recognized as the conference Offensive Player of the Week for her conference-leading performances in NSIC play last week.
Meyer led the NSIC in kills (6.33 k/s), attack percentage (.525) and points (6.50 p/s) as the Golden Eagles went 1-1 on the week. She paced all attackers against U-Mary, falling one kill shy of her season and career high with 19. Meyer added to her personal record book with a career high .562 (19K-1E-32TA) attack percentage in the victory. Against MSU Moorhead, Meyer recorded an impressive 19 kills on the night to lead all attackers in the match.
The U of M, Crookston Volleyball team hits the road on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25 to battle Upper Iowa and Winona State. Match time is set for 7 p.m. in Fayette, Iowa and 3 p.m. in Winona.
