(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) Athletic Department announced today that Tuesday, October 28 will be “Athletes Give Back Night” in Bede Ballroom on the university campus. The event begins at 7 p.m. and is open to all members of the community, families, faculty, staff and students of all ages.
 
“Athletes Give Back Night” is sponsored by the UMC Student Athletic Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.). S.A.A.C. is a committee consisting of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athletic experience and to offer their input on rules, regulations and policies that affect the lives of student-athletes on NCAA member institution campuses.
 
"S.A.A.C. would like to invite the community, faculty/staff and student body out for "Athletes Give Back Night", says Allison Zajicek, President of the UMC Student Athletic Advisory Committee. “It is going to be a fun-filled night of bingo and other games and will be a great event for families and participants of all ages. Prizes have been donated from several local businesses and refreshments will be provided.”
