Cowboys Stay Perfect, Win NFL Youth Football Super Bowl II

(Crookston, Minn.)- NFL Youth Super Bowl II was held on the campus of the University of Minnesota, Crookston on Sunday, October 26. This year’s Super Bowl featured the Patriots against the defending champion Cowboys in a battle of the only two undefeated teams in the league. The two teams traded scores throughout the first half. In the second half, the Super Bowl experience and veteran leadership of the Cowboy’s showed as the team held onto the victory, earned the repeat title and potentially started a dynasty in NFL Youth Football at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. “Coaching those young men was a great experience once again. They want to know everything that we know about the game and as player, it was great to watch them as they learned the game,” said Coach Jabari Williams. “It's great to see those kids perform to the best of their ability. I know they enjoyed it as much as I did. I really felt like a coach to the players.” Members of the 2008 champion Cowboys include: Zach, Markovich, Marques Stassen, Austin Fenno, Ben Halos, Alexquier LaFrance, Michael Anderson, Dane Anderson, Charles Eickoff. Coaches for the team were Jabari Williams and Mitch Dolfuss. Super Bowl II will be remembered as a day of fun, excitement, great football and wild fans.
