Justine Jones

(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Soccer players Vanessa Copiak (Sr, Def/Mid, Calgary, Alberta, Canada) and Justine Jones (So, Fwd/Mid, Richland, Wash.) have both earned Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) post-season honors.

 

Jones was named to the All-NSIC Third team. She scored eight goals and added two assists for 18 points this season while starting all 20 games for the Golden Eagles. She led the team in goals, points and shots on goal. Jones also earned NSIC Offensive Player of the Week honors in October.

 

Copiak was named All-NSIC Honorable Mention. A solid defender, she started all 20 games for the Golden Eagles and recorded six shots on goal.
