NSIC Recognizes Four Golden Eagle Football Players with All-Conference Honors

(NSIC) announced today that four Golden Eagle football players earned All-Conference recognition following the 2008 season. Travis Coulson (P, SR, Crescent City, Calif.) earned NSIC North Division All-Conference First Team Special Team honors. Enrique Julien (DE, SR, Miami Springs, Fla.), Mario Perez (OG, SO, Colton, Calif.) and Jeff Schiller (C, FR, Lakeside, Calif.) earned NSIC North Division All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. Coulson punted 68 times on the season for 2,605 yards. He averaged 38.3 yards/punt with a long of 65-yards. Eight times he stuck the opponent inside their own 20-yard line and had nine punts of 50-yards or more. Julien finished seventh on the team with 44 total tackles (15 solo, 29 assisted). He had 5.5 tackles for a loss of 18-yards and recorded 1.5 sacks on the season. Perez started in 10 of 10 games played while Schiller started in nine of nine games played.

Both players were a staple on the offensive line and helped the Golden Eagles to 2,654 total yards of offense and 23 touchdowns this season.
