Golden Eagle Western Equestrian Team Travels to North Dakota State University this Weekend

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Western Equestrian team travels to Fargo, N.D. on Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23 for a show hosted by North Dakota State University. Action will get under way at 1 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a successful show at South Dakota State University and Coach Nicky Overgaard is looking to build off the momentum. “We are hoping to build on our win from last weekend and make a strong showing this weekend,” says Coach Overgaard. “Hopefully with that momentum, we can pull into the lead in the team regional points standings.”
Coach Overgaard looks for strong rides out of Mary Hurley (So, Grand Meadow, Minn.), Amanda Peterson (Jr, Rochester, Minn.), Kayla Klein (So, Hazen, N.D.) and Kaitlyn Tollefsrud (Fr, Hawley, Minn.). All four riders are close to pointing up in their respective divisions.
