Golden Eagle Hunt Seat Equestrian Team Travels to UW-River Falls for Weekend Show

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Hunt Seat Equestrian team travels to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for shows held on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7. The shows will get underway at 1 p.m. and 9 a.m. respectively. It will be the final fall competition for the Golden Eagles.
U of M, Crookston is currently in second place overall in the region. A strong show could vault the Golden Eagles into the lead. Coach Brooke Leininger looks forward to another solid weekend. “They have been working hard and I think that they are very ready for this competition,” says Coach Leininger. “There are several riders who are within a solid reach of qualifying for the Regional Championships this weekend.” Megan Claybundy (So, International Falls, Minn.), Heather Fogelson (Fr, Grant, Minn.), Elsa Lunden (So, Annandale, Minn.), Kelsey Sherman (Fr, Lansing, Mich.) and Brittney Skoien (Jr, Wannaska, Minn.) are all within reach of qualifying with two solid performances.
