Golden Eagle Hockey Squad Heads to Concordia University (Wis.) this Friday and Saturday

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men’s Hockey team will hit the road this weekend as they travel to Mequon, Wis. to face Concordia University in Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA) action on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. respectively.
The Golden Eagles hold an overall record of 1-10-0 and MCHA record of 1-7-0 after dropping two MCHA games to Finlandia University this past Friday and Saturday. The Lions defeated U of M, Crookston 5-2 and 6-2 respectively. The Golden Eagles are led by Brent Swanson (Jr, Fwd, Mason City, Iowa) who has four goals and five assists for nine points. Jonathan Frank (Fr, Def, Wallingford, Conn.) has two goals and three assists for five points. Jacob Schira (Fr, G, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) has a 3.23 goals against average and a .908 saves percentage.

Concordia University has an overall record of 1-9-0 and MCHA record of 1-7-0 after dropping two games to Marian University this past weekend. Concordia lost 5-1 at Marian on Friday and 6-2 at home on Saturday. They are led by Sam Aide who has three goals and five assists for eight points. Eric Everson has a 4.60 goals against average and a .901 saves percentage.
