(Crookston, Minn.) – University of Minnesota, Crookston goaltender Bryan Dalbec (Fr, G, Superior, Wis.) has been named Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA) Freshman of the Week after a stellar performance in two wins (4-1 & 3-0) at Northland College last weekend.
Dalbec stopped 32 of 33 Lumberjack shots and earned the shut-out in Saturday’s 3-0 victory. He also had a .970 saves percentage on the weekend and held Northland College to a 1 of 13 showing on the power play.
Dalbec has a 4.80 goals against average this season and .882 saves percentage. He is majoring in criminal justice at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. Bryan is the son of Mark and Anita Dalbec of Superior, Wis.
