Golden Eagle Women’s Tennis Team to to Host Three NSIC Foes This Weekend

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Tennis team returns to action on Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28 when they host Northern State University and Bemidji State University in a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matches at Center Court Fitness Center in Grand Forks, N.D. Friday’s matches will begin at 3 p.m. while Saturday’s matches will start at 12 p.m.
The Golden Eagles have an overall and NSIC record of 0-2 and look to gain their first victory of the season after dropping a 9-0 decision to the University of Minnesota Duluth on Sunday, February 22.
Golden Eagles vs. Northern State University 3 p.m. Friday, February 27
Golden Eagles vs. Bemidji State University 12 p.m. Saturday, February 28
Golden Eagles vs. University of Mary 8 a.m. Sunday, March 1
Northern State University has an overall and NSIC record of 0-2 after dropping two matches this past weekend to MSU Moorhead (1-8) and the University of Minnesota Duluth (2-7).
Bemidji State University has an overall and NSIC record of 0-2 after dropping matches to the University of Minnesota Duluth (3-6) and Minnesota State University Mankato (4-5) back on February 6.
The University of Mary has an overall record of 0-4 and NSIC record of 0-3. They last competed on February 14 when they dropped an 8-1 non-conference decision to the College of St. Benedict.
