(St. Paul, Minn.)- The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) announced today the postseason women’s basketball award winners. The University of Minnesota, Crookston’s Jamie Zelinsky (So., 5-11, G, Brooklyn Park, Minn.) earned NSIC All-Conference Second Team honors for her play during the 2008-09 season. Zelinsky started in 26 of 27 games during the Golden Eagles 2008-09campaign. She was second on the team in minutes played (784 min./29 min./game), three-point field goals made (33) and free-throws made (89). Zelinsky led the Golden Eagle squad in field goals made (155), assists (68), points (432) and points/game (16.0) good for fourth in the NSIC. She ranks sixth all-time in scoring at the University of Minnesota, Crookston with 858 points through two seasons. Zelinsky is the daughter of Julie Walter & Joel Wulff of Brooklyn Park, Minn. and Jeff & Holly Zelinsky of Woodbury, Minn.
