Alyssa Krikke (Grand Rapids, Mich.) Signs with Golden Eagle Volleyball

(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston head women’s volleyball coach Lee Anderson announced today the signing of Alyssa Krikke to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles in 2009.
 
Krikke is a 6-0 middle hitter from Grand Rapids Community College (Forest Hills Northern H.S.). In high school, she was named to the All-Conference and All-Region teams. At Grand Rapids Community College she was named All-Conference, All-Region and was an All-Tournament team member.
 
"Alyssa is an outstanding middle hitter.  Her athletic ability, technical prowess and experience at the JUCO level will allow her to have an immediate impact on our program, says Coach Anderson. “We are very excited to have an athlete of Alyssa's caliber as a member of our team."
 
Krikke plans to major in pre-physical therapy at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She is the daughter of Sue and Bob Krikke.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston is a NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Golden Eagle Hockey is a member of the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
