(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Tennis team will take part in the 2009 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Individual championship this Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 at the Baseline Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn.
There will be a coaches’ meeting on Friday night at which the draws will be revealed. Matches start at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Head Coach Josh Lunak is excited about the opportunity for his players. “We are excited for the season ending conference tournament,” says Coach Lunak. “We are playing really well and hope to gain some victories this weekend. Once you get to the conference tournament you can throw out all the records because everyone is starting from scratch.”
