Golden Eagle Women’s Basketball to Hold Shooting and Scoring Camp on June 9-11

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Basketball program will host its 2nd Annual Women’s Basketball Shooting and Scoring Camp on June 9-11, 2009. The camp will run from 10 a.m. until noon for grades 7-12 and 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. for grades 3-6 in Lysaker Gymnasium on the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus. During the instructional camp, young players will learn ball handling and shooting drills and skills that they can use everyday to improve their basketball ability. Talented instructors like Golden Eagle guard Jamie Zelinsky, former Gopher Women’s Basketball player Leslie Knight and former North Dakota Women’s Basketball player Ashley Langen will attend the camp to help the participants learn the skills taught.
