Over 50 Golfers Participate in First Annual Highway 2 Classic Teambacker Golf Tournament

 (Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Teambacker’s held their 1st annual Highway 2 Classic Golf Tournament, on Friday, June 12. Participants played nine holes at the Fosston Golf Club and nine holes at Oak Lake Golf Course in Erskine, Minn. Over 50 golfers participated in the 18-hole scramble which raised in excess of $1,500 for Golden Eagle Athletics. “The UMC Teambacker's would like to thank tournament hosts the Fosston Golf Club and Oak Lake Golf Course, tournament sponsor Duffer's Sports Bar & Grill and all the clubhouse sponsors and golfers for making the 1st annual Highway 2 Classic Golf Tournament a successful one. We look forward to returning next year,” says Director of Athletic Fundraising Bill Tyrrell.
