University of Minnesota, Crookston Names Kristin Chase New Assistant Athletic Trainer

(Crookston, Minn.) –The University of Minnesota, Crookston has named Kristin Chase its new assistant athletic trainer. Chase comes to U of M, Crookston from the University of North Dakota (UND) where she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the women’s volleyball and softball programs. Chase also served as a teaching assistant at UND.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Minnesota State University, Mankato in May of 2007. Chase is currently finishing her Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Dakota with an anticipated date of graduation of August 7, 2009. She also did an athletic training student internship at the University of Denver in 2002-2003.

Chase is a Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer with a licensure in the state of North Dakota. She will begin her duties at the University of Minnesota, Crookston in August.
