CROOKSTON, Minn. (January 8, 2007) – A decision on the future of the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) athletic program will be announced on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at 11 a.m. UMC Chancellor Charles H. Casey will make the announcement in Bede Ballroom in the Student Center regarding the future direction of Golden Eagle athletics followed by a question and answer session.
Committee chair and Crookston area resident Glenn Olsen, Ph.D., and UMC Athletic Director Stephanie Helgeson, who also sat on the review committee, will join Chancellor Casey for the announcement and will be available to the media following.
