Adam Leiphon Hired as Assistant Athletic Trainer at UMC

(Crookston, Minn.)- The Golden Eagle Athletic department announced today that Adam Leiphon has been hired as the new Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. Leiphon is a native of Crary, N.D.
Leiphon graduated in May of 2007 from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training along with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History.
While an Athletic Training Student at UND, Leiphon had the opportunity to work with men’s baseball, men’s football, women’s basketball and men’s hockey. He worked at the UND Center for Sports Medicine from August of 2004 until his present position at UMC. Leiphon is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Mid-American Athletic Trainer’s Association and North Dakota Athletic Trainer’s Association.
“We are excited to have Adam onboard with Golden Eagle Athletics,” says Athletic Director Stephanie Helgeson. “His knowledge and experience working with several athletic programs at UND will be an asset as he transitions into his position here at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.”
