Golden Eagle Women's Soccer Team Drops 3-0 Decision to Northern Michigan

The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Soccer team dropped a 3-0 game to Northern Michigan University on Sunday afternoon. The game was played in Bemidji, Minn. on the campus of Bemidji State University.
Northern Michigan’s Ashley Dekeyser (So. Fwd.) scored an unassisted goal at 37:42 to give the Wildcats a 1-0 halftime lead. NMU added second half unassisted goals from Renee LeBlanc (Sr., Fwd.) at 51:34 and Abigail Debiak (Jr., Mid.) at 72:37 to secure the 3-0 victory. The Wildcats are 2-0-0.
U of M, Crookston’s Athena Mussenden (So., GK, Kenosha, WI) played the entire game in net. She had 13 saves.
The Golden Eagles are 0-2-0 on the season and will return to action on Friday, August 31 when they play host to Dordt College of Nebraska in the UMC Subway Classic. Game time is 4:00 pm.
