Nearly 100 University of Minnesota, Crookston Golden Eagle student–athletes are traveling to Northwood, North Dakota on Saturday, September 1 to volunteer their time in the tornado ravaged community. They will depart via motor coach on Saturday morning.
“I am extremely proud to have our student-athletes volunteer in the Northwood Community,” says U of M, Crookston Assistant Athletic Director/SWA Natasha Kuhle. “We have had so many of our UMC student-athletes want to help the residents of Northwood. When there is a disaster in a neighboring community we need to lend a helping hand and that is just what our student-athletes want to do. They are eager to help the Northwood community.”
