Golden Eagle Women’s Golf Finishes Second at Jimmie Open

(Crookston, Minn.)- The Golden Eagle Women’s Golf team opened the 2007 fall season with an impressive second place finish at the Jimmie Open in Jamestown, N.D. The team shot consistently, finishing with a team score of 361. Dickinson State took first place in the tournament with a team score of 326.
Individually, Brittany Poole (Fr., Channahan, Ill.) led the Golden Eagles, finishing with a solid round of 89 (41/48).

The team is back on the course on September 7 for the Concordia College Invite. On September 8-9 UMC participates in the Cobber Open. Both tournaments will be held at the Wildflower Golf Club in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
