University of Minnesota, Crookston and Crookston High School to Host Crookston Fall Sports Festival on Friday and Saturday

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston and Crookston High School will be working together to host the first annual Crookston Fall Sport Festival on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15 on the U of M, Crookston Campus. The festival is free to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
Golden Eagle and Pirate Athletes will be volunteering their time at the event. Participants will get a chance to spend an hour learning and playing different sports and are encouraged to try as many as they like.
There will be a free tailgate for all festival participants prior to the start of the U of M, Crookston football game against Southwest Minnesota State. All festival participants age 18 and under will receive complimentary admission to the game. Participants will also be entered into a drawing for prizes. The drawing will take place at halftime of the football game.
