Golden Eagle Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at Fall Central Region Invite

(Detroit Lakes, Minn.)- The Golden Eagle Men's Golf team moved up one place on the final day of the Fall Central Region Invitational to take fifth place with a team score of 610. Winona State University won the Invitational by 12 strokes, finishing with a score of 582. Missouri Western State University finished second with a team score of 594. Jake Sanders (Fr., Crookston, Minn.) had a brilliant second day, moving from out of the top ten to finishing tied for sixth with a two day score of 146. Sanders was just three strokes off the pace set by Aaron Lisenbee (Missouri Western) who finished with a -1 (143).
