The Golden Eagle Men’s and Women’s Golf teams participated in the NSIC Conference Championships this weekend at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn. Both teams shot consistently over the two-day tournament with the women finishing in seventh place and the men finishing in fifth place overall.
Leading the way for the women’s team was Brittany Poole (Fr., Channahan, Ill.) who finished tied for 38th place. Poole struggled on day one shooting a 104 but turned it around on day two, posting an outstanding score of 88 and a tournament score of 192.

Steven Busho (Sr., Blooming Prairie, Minn.) continues to be the team leader in the clubhouse for the men’s golf team. At the NSIC Championship, Busho posted scores of 76 and 75 for a tournament score of 151, good for a sixth place finish.

Upper Iowa University won the women’s championship and Winona State University won the men’s championship.
The NSIC Conference Championship is the final contest in the fall golf season. Both teams return to the links in March.
