Coulson Named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week for Second Time

(St. Paul, Minn.)- Travis Coulson (P, 6-3, 250, Jr., Crescent City, Calif. / College of the Redwoods) continues to have a strong fall for the Golden Eagles on special teams. On Saturday, Coulson punted six times against the University of Mary for 250 yards. He averaged 41.7 yards per punt with a long of 50 yards and stuck the Marauders inside their 20-yard line once. This marks the second time this season Coulson has been named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week.

 

On the season, Coulson has punted 36 times for 1,372 total yards. He averages 38.1 yards per punt with a long of 58 yards against SW Minnesota State University on September 15. Coulson has recorded three touchbacks, six fair catches and an outstanding nine punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.
