Golden Eagle Women’s Soccer Drops 5-0 Decision at Northern State University

(Crookston, Minn.) – The Northern State University Wolves jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead over the University of Minnesota, Crookston today and never looked back on their way to a 5-0 victory in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) women’s soccer.
The Wolves had five different players score in the contest as Katherine Bronson, Larissa Strychun, Summer Swan, Maggie Fedor and Kirbie Wages all tallied goals. Bronson and Fedor also added assists. The Golden Eagles were only able to muster three shots on goal.
U of M, Crookston falls to 5-12-0 overall and 2-4-0 in the NSIC. Northern State University improves to 13-3-2 overall and 6-0-1 in the conference.
The Golden Eagles will return to action again on Sunday when they travel to Bismarck, N.D. for an NSIC encounter with the University of Mary. Game time is set for 1:00 pm.
