Golden Hockey Squad Travels to Marian in Search of First MCHA Win

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men’s Hockey team will continue its role as road warriors this Friday and Saturday when they travel to Fon du Lac, Wis. for Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA) games against Marian College. The puck drops at 7:00 pm and 2:00 pm respectively.

 

U of M, Crookston is in search of its first win of the season after dropping two games at the Milwaukee School of Engineering last weekend by scores of 5-3 and 7-4. The Golden Eagles are 0-4-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the MCHA. They are led by Alex Maginnis (Fr., Fwd., Mason City, Iowa) who has five goals and one assist for six points. This includes three power play goals and one unassisted goal.

 

The Sabres of Marian College have a record of 2-3-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the MCHA after dropping two non-conference games against Bethel University by scores of 7-3 and 4-3 (OT) this past weekend. They are led by Brendan Hull who has five goals and three assists for eight points.
