Augustana Takes Advantage of Golden Eagle Turnovers in 115-69 Victory

(Crookston, Minn.)- The Golden Eagle Men’s Basketball team traveled to Sioux Falls, S.D. to take on the Vikings of Augustana College this evening. Augustana scored 29 points on 20 Golden Eagle turnovers to help take the 115-69 victory.

 

The Golden Eagles were led by Bryce Cumming’s (So., G, Mukwonago, Wis.) 14 points. Freshman Akeem Cubie (Fr., G, Minneapolis, Minn.) added 12 points for UMC. Augustana had six players in double-figures for points. David Foster led all players with 17 points. Jordan Dalton dished out seven assists in the Viking’s victory.

 

The Golden Eagles are 0-1 on the season while the Vikings move to 1-0 overall. UMC returns to the court on November 20 to host Valley City State University. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. at Lysaker Gymnasium on the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus.
