Golden Eagle Men’s Hockey Team Travels to Finlandia University

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men’s Hockey squad returns to action today and Saturday with Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA) games at Finlandia University in Hancock, Mich. The puck drops at 7:30 pm (EST) and 3:00 pm (EST) respectively.
The Golden Eagles are riding a three game winning streak and have an overall record of 3-6-0 and 2-4-0 in the MCHA. They are in second place in the MCHA Northern Division and in fifth place overall. U of M, Crookston is led by Alex Maginnis (Fr., Fwd., Mason City, Iowa) who has seven goals and two assists for nine points. Teal Plaine (Sr., Fwd., Hallock, Minn.) has one goal and five assists for six points. Eric Everson (Jr., G., Stevens Point, Wis.) is now 3-3-0 with a 3.53 goals against average and a .904 saves percentage.
Finlandia University has an overall record of 4-3-0 and MCHA record of 4-2-0. They lead the MCHA Northern Division and are in fourth place overall. They are led by Mike Parks who has four goals and six assists for ten points.
