U of M, Crookston Returns Home to Host Adrian College

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men’s Hockey team returns home Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19 when they play host to Adrian College in a pair of Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA) games. The puck drops at 8:00 pm and 2:00 pm respectively at the Crookston Civic Arena.
The Golden Eagles will look to rebound from a pair of tough losses at Northland College this past Friday and Saturday. The Lumberjacks defeated U of M, Crookston by scores of 4-3 and 8-0 respectively.
The Golden Eagles have a record of 3-12-0 overall and 2-8-0 in the MCHA. They are led by Alex Maginnis (Fr., Fwd., Mason City, Iowa) who has seven goals and three assists for 10 points. He is followed by Teal Plaine (Sr., Fwd., Hallock, Minn.) who has two goals and seven assists for nine points, Jared Kopp (Jr., Fwd., Bismarck, N.D.) who has four goals and four assists for eight points and Matt Hann (Sr., Fwd., Crookston, Minn.) who has six goals and one assist for seven points.
The Bulldogs of Adrian College have an overall record of 12-3-0 and lead the MCHA with a league record of 9-1-0. They are led by Shawn Skelly who has 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points, Eric Miller who has 17 goals and 16 assists for 33 points and Adam Krug who has 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points.
