Golden Eagles to Host Concordia University-Wisconsin This Friday and Saturday

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men’s Hockey team will look to get back in the win column this Friday and Saturday when they play host to Concordia University-Wisconsin in a pair of Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA) games at the Crookston Civic Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 pm and 2:00 pm respectively.
The Golden Eagles will look to rebound from a pair of tough losses to league leading Adrian College last Friday and Saturday by scores of 9-1 and 14-2.
U of M, Crookston has an overall record of 3-14-0 overall and 2-10-0 in the MCHA. They are led by Alex Maginnis (Fr., Fwd., Mason City, Iowa) who has seven goals and four assists for 11 points. He is followed by Teal Plaine (Sr., Fwd., Hallock, Minn.) who has three goals and seven assists for 10 points. Jared Kopp (Jr., Fwd., Bismarck, N.D.) has four goals and four assists for eight points. Matt Hann (Sr., Fwd., Crookston, Minn.) has six goals and one assist for seven points and Ryan Tucker (Sr., Fwd., Crookston, Minn.) has four goals and three assists for seven points.
Concordia University-Wisconsin has an overall record of 2-15-0 and 2-10-0 in the MCHA after splitting with Lawrence University last Friday and Saturday. Concordia took Friday’s game by a 3-0 score but dropped Saturday’s contest 10-5. They are led by Jonathan Smith who has four goals and six assists for 10 points.
