2005: Cassie played in 102 games last season and was second on the team in assists with 497 (4.87 assists/game). She was a force to be reckoned with from the service line as she compiled 22 service aces, good for fourth on the team.

High School: Cassie is a 5-foot, 10-inch, setter. She played her high school volleyball at Buffalo High School. While in high school she earned recognition as an All-Conference, All-Conference Academic, All-State Academic and Offensive MVP volleyball player. Yates also earned accolades in basketball as an All-Conference and All-Conference Academic team member.

Personal: Cassie is majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in Coaching at UMC. She is the daughter of Susan and Elgin Yates.
