Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC Donates Recruiting Car to Golden Eagle Athletics

CroxPontPic09.JPG(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston Athletic Director Stephanie Helgeson and Director of Athletic Fundraising Bill Tyrrell announced today that Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC, in conjunction with the "Golden Eagles on Wheels" program will donate a car for Golden Eagle athletic coaches to use during the recruiting season. This type of sponsorship is vital to the overall success of a growing NCAA II athletic program as the vehicles are used by coaches during their peak recruiting seasons and can save the athletic budget up to $5,000 annually.

"Our partnership with Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC and their willingness to contribute a vehicle is essential to our athletic programs," says Helgeson. "Their generosity helps our recruiting budgets and all of the Golden Eagle coaches feel very fortunate for the contribution."
