
The Golden Eagles were led by Amber Meyer (OH, 6-2, JR, Paxton, Neb.) who recorded a match-high 18 kills and a team-high .385 (18K-3E-39TA) attack percentage. Her attack percentage tonight was her second highest this season behind a .714 attack percentage against Quincy on September 11. Setter Shannon Cologna (S, 5-6, JR, Peoria, Ariz.) led all players with 34 assists on the 39 Golden Eagle kills. Defensively, Jaclyn Slepicka (LIB, 5-2, SR, Crystal Lake, Ill.) led the Golden Eagles with 11 digs and Amanda Swann (OH, 6-0, FR, Rochester, Mich.) led the squad at the net with three block assists.
MSU Moorhead was led by Heidi Lensing's 12 kills and .556 (12K-2E-18TA) attack percentage. Leigh Splittstoesser led the squad with 26 assists. Katy Ness led all players with 12 defensive digs while Mary Sussenguth tied UMC's Swann with three block assists.
The Golden Eagles are 4-19 overall and 1-10 in the NSIC while the Dragons advance to 16-8 overall and 6-5 in the NSIC. The Golden Eagles host Upper Iowa and Winona State next Friday and Saturday at Lysaker Gymnasium. Match times are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on Saturday.
