(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team faced its second straight double overtime game on Friday afternoon. This time the Golden Eagles fell victim to a goal in the 107th minute as the Dordt College won 1-0 in the Dordt/Northwestern Pizza Ranch Classic in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Morgan Rodenburgh's unassisted goal gave the defenders the victory.
Anna Ogaard (Jr, GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) was stellar in net for U of M, Crookston stopping 11 Dordt shots.
The loss drops the Golden Eagles to 0-1-1 on the season. U of M, Crookston will return to action on Saturday, September 5 at 11:00 am when they travel to Orange City, Iowa to face Northwestern College in the final game of the Dordt/Northwestern Pizza Ranch Classic.
