University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer Team Travels to Minnesota State University Moorhead on Saturday

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team returns to Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action on Saturday, October 17 when they travel down Highway 75 to take on Minnesota State University Moorhead in Moorhead, Minn. Play will begin at 1 p.m.

The Golden Eagles played in two hard fought double overtime contests last weekend. Saturday, saw U of M, Crookston tie Northern State University 1-1 while Sunday had the University of Mary score 6:17 into the second overtime to take home a 1-0 victory.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston has an overall record of 2-10-2 and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference record of 0-7-1. They are led by Justine Jones (Sr, Fwd, Richland, Wash.) who has scored four goals for eight points. Megan Gibeault (Jr, Fwd, Green Bay, Wis.) has scored one goal and added three assists for five points. Kaitlyn Ostergren (Fr, Mid, Lino Lakes, Minn.) has scored two goals for four points while Megan Flynn (Fr, Def, Chanhassen, Minn.) has scored one goal and added two assists for four points. Anna Ogaard (Jr, GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) has a 2.23 goals against average and a .787 saves percentage.

Golden Eagles @ Minnesota State University Moorhead Saturday, October 17 1 p.m.

The Dragons have an overall record of 4-8-1 and NSIC record of 1-7-0 after dropping 1-0 and 2-0 decisions to the University of Mary and Northern State University respectively. They are led by Jordyn Wallenborn who has scored six goals for 12 points. Alison Wanner has a 2.09 goals against average and a .752 saves percentage.
