University of Mary Clips Golden Eagles Women's Soccer Team 1-0 in Double Overtime

ogaard_anna09.jpg(Crookston, Minn.)- For the second straight day, the University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team fought valiantly pushing their opponent to another double overtime match. Unfortunately, the University of Mary had the final say as Megan Wilson took an assist from Joanna Drennen and scored off a header at 106:17 to give the Marauders a 1-0 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) victory today in Crookston, Minn.

Anna Ogaard (Jr, GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) was outstanding for the second day in a row stopping 13 University of Mary shots.

The Golden Eagles fall to 2-10-2 overall and 0-7-1 in the NSIC. The Marauders improve to 7-5-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the NSIC.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston will return to action on Saturday, October 17 when they travel to Minnesota State University Moorhead for an NSIC match. Action will get underway at 1 p.m.
