(Crookston, Minn.)- The Crookston Youth NFL Super Bowl III will be held on Sunday, November 1 at 2 p.m. at Ed Widseth Field on the campus of the University of Minnesota, Crookston. The 2009 game will feature the league's two top teams, the undefeated Rams and the one-loss Eagles who are looking for redemption after sustaining their only loss to the Rams.
"It has been another exciting season of NFL Youth Flag Football at the University of Minnesota, Crookston," says Golden Eagle Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator Natasha Kuhle. "We have six more area communities participating this year than we did last year and we had record enrollment. The players and coaches have done a great job and Super Bowl III will be a great event to close out the 2009 season."
There will be a free tailgate for the Youth NFL Flag Football participants, their families and friends. All of the UMC Golden Eagle athletes will be hosting the tailgate. Everyone is invited out for lunch and the Youth NFL Flag Football Super Bowl.
The Youth NFL Flag Football Super Bowl Champions will be recognized at half-time of the University of Minnesota, Crookston and Upper Iowa University football game on Saturday, November 7 at 1 p.m.
