(Crookston, Minn.)- The Golden Eagle Athletic Department at the University of Minnesota, Crookston announced today that it will be hosting Golden Eagle Family Weekend this weekend, Friday November 20 until Monday, November 23.
Golden Eagle Family Weekend will be four fun-filled days of Golden Eagle Women's and Men's Basketball including the women's home-opener on Friday against Mayville State and the men's home-opener on Saturday against Minnesota Morris. Golden Eagle fans can get four tickets and four popcorns for each game for only $25. That is 16 total game tickets and 16 popcorns for the bargain price of $25. The Golden Eagle Women's Basketball team hosts Mayville State on Friday at 6 p.m. The men host Morris on Saturday at 2 p.m. and return to the court on Sunday to host Jamestown College at 4 p.m. The women return to the court on Monday evening at 7 p.m. to host Valley City State.
(NSIC Hoopfest- Nov. 28-29) Tickets for the 2010 NSIC Hoopfest in Sioux Falls, S.D. will be on sale in the hallway of the UMC Sports Center prior to each game this weekend. Cost is $10 for Saturday's games and $10 for Sunday's games. The Golden Eagle Women's and Men's Basketball teams will be facing Winona State University and Northern State University. Tip-offs are scheduled for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. respectively.
